Microsoft Vista

Microsoft Vista was a huge undertaking for Microsoft and was many years in the making. Arguably its underlying architecture has changed as much from previous versions as has its user interface. We are using new, cutting-edge techniques to provide thorough, accurate and fast data recoveries from the Windows Vista platform and all of its associated programs.

Microsoft Windows XP

Although Vista is the future, there are still millions of installations of Windows XP that must be maintained. This means that data recovery from the Microsoft Windows XP platform will be supported for many (many) years to come.

Apple Macintosh OS X

We have specialized in Apple Macintosh data recovery for many years. This means that we know how to recover data from Macs in its native format. Our extensive experience, proprietary hardware and in-house software can recover data from all types of Apple products and Macintosh computers.

Linux

As many know, Linux has found a very comfortable home on the servers of many universities. Its robust architecture and relatively inexpensive operating costs have made it a wonderful choice for educators and researchers. Even Linux workstations have found much greater popularity in the the education community. This is especially true in engineering schools where the UNIX architecture and computational power is extremely useful. We can recover data from many flavors of Linux including RedHat, Fedora, SuSE, Debian, Ubunto as well as many others.

Other UNIX Based Systems

Commercial and commercial-based UNIX installations are still prevalent among Universities and educational institutions. These include Solaris, HP-UX, AIX and older installations of IRIX. Of course other spin-offs have results from these operating systems such as SchilliX, Nexenta and Belenix. Our data recovery technicians will work with you one-on-one to discuss your particular recovery needs, plan a course of action and undertake the recovery under your administrators’ direction and guidance.

Legacy Operating Systems

New is shiny, but sometimes old just works! Although others may have long since left many of the “legacy” operating systems, we have not forgotten. We will recover data from many of the older operating systems like Windows 98, Windows 95, Windows 3.x, Apple Macintosh OS 9, and even OS 8. Believe it or not, in many cases we still have working copies of these legacy operating systems installed and ready to help recover your data.
