Laptops

Laptop computers can get abused. They are carted around, thrown about and used in awkward places. This can take its toll on their components; specifically the hard drive.

Using a laptop that’s been sitting in the cold or shutting the lid and moving the laptop before it’s sleeping are just two things that have been known cause data loss. The hard drives in laptops are made to fit in confined quarters but they can be fragile. Improper use, or just bad luck, can cause your hard drive fail, taking your data with it.

Desktops often utilize large hard drive that can be crammed full of data. Documents, pictures, research and music may fill up a desktop hard drive. So when the hard drive fails, large amounts of data go with it.

Flash memory devices can suffer from physical damage, accidental erasure or formatting, or even hardware failures. But our technicians can recover data from all types of failures. External Hard Drives

Like laptops, external hard drives are often abused. Their portable nature can lead to internal problems and data loss. We can remove the hard drive from your external device and directly test it. If the drive itself has failed, we can resurrect your data from the failed drive.
